This lot is part of our selection of washed coffee lots in which we searched for the varietal and terroir to shine through.
Tablahuasi is an area with abundant rivers and streams, lush vegetation, and a tropical climate averaging 23°C which ensures a slow maturation of the cherries and slow drying of the processed coffee.
The Guevara family has dedicated two generations to coffee cultivation, improving their agronomic practices to guarantee the quality of their harvest, most recently introducing shaded and elevated drying beds and washing tanks. Being a very small farm, of only 4.5 hectares, the family takes care of the whole process on their own from picking to processing and drying. This high attention to quality and minimum interventionl lets the sweet and fruity profile of the Bourbon varietal come forward.
